QUALITY STANDARDS FOR FINGER JOINT WOOD PANELS

Surface Grades:

• Grade A: Smooth and flawless surface, no dead knots
• Grade B: Accepts live knots < 15mm, no dead knots, no core heart, no decay, no blue stains.
• Grade C: Accepts live knots, well-filled dead knots, sapwood, small core heart (not exceeding 20cm), minor mold (not blue or rotten).
• Finger joints and edge joints must be tight, and the panel must not have cracks or splits at the ends.
